A high degree of damage resulted from the highly inflammable nature of Japanese construction.
This is a fact in the Doolittle Raid that i dont understand.
What does it mean that the nature of the Japanese contruction.

Inflammable is one of those strange words. It actually means the same thing as flammable (easily ignited). Many Japanese buildings were wooden and therefore fires caused by bombing raids did much damage.
