This slideshow provides a terrific photographic record of the amazing baseball player, Jackie Robinson. His story is a truly great one, and it would be well worth reading a good biography of him if you are interested.

WOW! That was a great slideshow that briefly described one of the best careers that Major League Baseball has ever seen. It covered everything from when he stole home to the great quote on his gravestone. I loved this video.
i saw this and was really interested so i looked up his stats. What i found most amazing was that in his debut season he played 151 games. I think his story is even more amazing that he didn't react to booing even though he was playing close to every day. WR6
I think it is great that they finally let African-American people into the MLB. But it is so sad that they waited so long to do so. I can't imagine not having them playing in he big leagues.
JACKIE ROBINSON! One of the best souls to ever. He also showed a very strong sign of courage because he had to face the jeers of the players and fans.He opened up the door for people like me to play baseball because I love the game. This was an excellent pick for this month of February because of Black History Month. THANK YOU JACKIE FOR CHANGING THE GAME FOR EVERYONE!
