The driving course looked pretty tough. I don't know enough about current auto testing, but I would guess car makers put their models through similar tests which are likely more demanding.

That was an interesting video. The design of the car was unique but the course was especially cool. Showing that car do well makes me naturally wonder what top cars today would do compared to the 1957 Chevy. I also noticed that the logo has changed a little bit over time. I enjoyed this video a lot.
I wonder what color that car was? If it was just white and black or if they made it in red, blue or yellow? Would they try to make it a cooler color, because the Model T , which was a lot earlier, but those cars were alway black? -HR4('16)
It's amazing how far cars have come. To someone in 1957, that must have looked stunning. to us, though it's really not that amazing. The design seems strange, and I'm sure it probably couldn't top 60 mph. Cars today can go fast, spin on a dime, and save your life. Cars have really come aways since the model T.
